A clinical Study of fatigue patients

Abstract
|
|
|
This study aimed to evaluate the characteristics of fatigue patients visited the OPD of family medicine department in a university hospital in Pusan.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1. Among 64 patients with chief complaint of fatigue, 29 (45.3%) patients have abnormal clinical findings in clinical evaluation, and 35(54.7%) patients have normal clinical findings in clinical evaluation.
2. Accompanying symptoms of total fatigue patients were gastrointestinal symptoms(19.4%), general symptoms(19.4%), psychiatric symptoms(16.1%), cardiovascular symptoms(13.7%), respiratory symptoms (8.2%) in order. Accompanying symptoms of
fatigue
patients with normal clinical findings in clinical evaluation were general symptoms(25.7%), psychiatric symptoms(20.3%), cardiovascular symptoms(16.2%), respiratory symptoms(8.2%) in order. Accompanying symptoms of fatigue patients with abnormal
clinical findings in clinical evaluation were gastrointestinal symptoms(26.8%), neurologic symptoms (16.0%), respiratory symptoms(12.5%) in order.
3. Major accompanying symptoms of fatigue patients with normal clinical findings in clinical evaluation were chest pain(25.7%), headache(17.1%), insomnia(17.1%), low back pain(17.1%), abdominal pain(11.1%), weight loss(8.6%) in order.
4. Major accompanying symptoms of fatigue patients with abnormal clinical findings in clinical evaluation were abdominal pain(17.1%), insomnia(13.8%), pharyngeal discomfort(13.8%), indigestion(10.3%), nausea (10.3%), headache(10.3%), low back
pain(10.3%) in order.
5. Organic disease found associated with fatigue were chronic hepatitis(13.8%), rheumatoid arthritis(10.3%), peptic ulcer(10.3%), diabetes(6.9%), hypothyroidism(6.0%), hyperthyroidism(6.9%) in order.
6. The factors such as age, sex, educational level, income have no significant effect on clinical findings of fatigue patients.
